Life Ruiners is a coming-of-age story about a group of misfits forming a band, trying to get a start in the rock industry. Their lives change when Kiara, the newest girlfriend of the leader joins them. Seeing their poor online presence, she decides to help them become famous, and as an extent also her.
Over time, the band grows in popularity, and Kiara meets Gabrielle, a girl who offers her a contract with a famous record label in the city. Kiara must decide whether to take this opportunity as a solo artist and betray her friends or reject the offer and continue with the band.
Kiara is a young bunny who spends all day in her room. One night, when her younger sister was about to go out, her parents asked her to join her. Despite both of their protests, they agree to go out together and head to the "Menagerie" club to see a rock concert. It's there where they first see the band "Life Ruiners." Kiara instantly falls in love with the band's guitarist. After an exhaustive search on social media, she only finds a very poor profile of the band and its members: Tubbs, the keyboardist; Lulu, the drummer; Kevin, the bassist; and finally, Eric, the guitarist and lead singer. Seeing their potential (and lack of followers), she sets out to help the band become a viral sensation. Kiara formulates a plan to get closer to Eric and decides to completely change her appearance, becoming the perfect alternative girl, at least aesthetically. During her transformation, she kept up with the band on social media, always keeping up with their upcoming shows and preparing for the next phase of her plan: to win Eric over. The young people meet after one of the Life Ruiners concerts. Kiara and Eric become a very unstable couple but stay together despite their clashing personalities. Although she's in love with the leader, she finds the rest of the band a bunch of weirdos. Kiara also imposes herself as their new social media manager, promising to propel them to stardom. The rest of the band isn't entirely happy about it but reluctantly accept her involvement. Kevin, Lulu, and Tubbs don't like Kiara, especially the latter; and the feeling is mutual. Little by little, Kiara realizes they're not as bad as she initially thought. She begins to open up to them more, and slowly, the relationship within the group goes from barely cordial to genuinely pleasant. Kiara feels she's finally becoming friends with them.Over time, the band's popularity increases slightly, until they manage to land a show at one of the most influential indie music clubs in the city. To celebrate the occasion, Eric asks Kiara to come up on stage and sing with him, which she happily accepts. When the show ends, several people approach Kiara to praise her singing. Among them is Gabrielle, an attractive and mysterious woman. Dazzled, the young bunny spends the rest of the night talking to her, telling her (in a very embellished way) all the things she's done for the band. Interested, Gabrielle reveals herself to be the representative of Hunter Records, one of the most prestigious record labels in the industry, and offers Kiara the chance at stardom. The next day, Kiara excitedly tells the band that she's about to get them a record deal. The band celebrates incredibly excitedly, believing their efforts have finally paid off. Everyone thanks Kiara for her help and asks when they'll sign. She tells them she'll speak to the manager as soon as possible. When Kiara meets with Gabrielle, the woman explains that the opportunity she's offering is just for her, as a solo artist. Confused, the bunny asks why the contract isn't extended to the entire band. Gabrielle explains that the rest of them don't have the "star factor" the record label is looking for, but she does. Kiara is flattered but insists again for the sake of her friends. Gabrielle finally says that if she manages to become a lucrative artist for the company, they might consider extending a contract in the future, but that she shouldn't get her hopes up. She debates whether to accept or reject the contract, as it would be a betrayal of her friends and partner.Kiara decides to accept the contract and invites the band to the signing day to tell them the news. The five head to the main building of Hunter Records and meet with Gabrielle and Mr. Hunter, the owner and boss of the record label. The members of Life Ruiners eagerly introduce themselves and ask when they will start working with them. The managers laugh, and Kiara explains that the meeting isn't for them, but for her to sign as a solo artist. The young group are shocked, believing it's a joke, but when they realize Kiara is telling the truth, they are angry and disappointed. Eric explodes in rage and begins yelling at his girlfriend and the others. The fight escalates until the enraged young man begins destroying objects in the office, immediately after which the group is escorted out of the building. The band argues, everyone blaming the couple for ruining everything. They end up breaking up, dissolving the band and their friendship. Meanwhile, after recovering, Kiara signs a contract with Hunter Records and begins her singing career. As the months go by, Kiara begins to doubt whether she made the right decision. She spends her time constantly working on her debut, rehearsing after rehearsal, photoshoots, recordings, and more. All under the stern eye of the record label, which monitors her entire presence both online and in her daily life. Kiara tries to contact Eric again to apologize for everything that happened, but he has blocked her on all lines. As a last resort, the young woman shows up at Tubbs's house and asks him for help. Tubbs confesses that even if he wanted to help her, he couldn't, since she hadn't spoken to him since the big fight. Kiara apologizes to Tubbs and asks him if there's any way she can make it up to them, she should ask him. The young man replies that the only way he could do so is if she had kept his promise.Kiara pondered those words, deciding she would undo the damage she had done. With her sister's help, they devise a plan to help the band get back together and free her from her job. Her contract didn't allow for performances without prior authorization. Together, they plan to hold a concert where she'll be the guest artist and Life Ruiners will also play, giving them the opportunity to reach a larger audience than they'd ever had before. To pull it off, Kiara begins to work harder than ever, always demanding more and more publicity to become the company's most viral star, ensuring that any public appearance she makes would be immediately documented. Meanwhile, her younger sister begins working behind the scenes, searching for the perfect venue to hold the concert and convincing the band to play without them suspecting her connection to Kiara. While the sisters prepare for their plan, the band members reunite. Little by little, they rebuild their friendship, and the boys decide to form Life Ruiners again, but this time Lulu stops playing as the drummer. Although it hurts, they accept her decision and part ways. Finally, the day of the concert is chosen. After a string of favors among friends and acquaintances, Kayla gets Life Ruiners to agree to play at the event, keeping secret that she or her sister are involved. Kiara, for her part, had spent days rehearsing for what would surely be her last show. The sisters meet at the chosen location, with the eldest broadcasting her location on social media, announcing that she would be giving a live show with free tickets. Thanks to the popularity she's accumulated over the past few months, it didn't take long for her fans to appear, along with several paparazzi and reporters. Kiara begins her performance, thrilling the crowd and attracting everyone's attention. The members of Life Ruiners are astonished to see her on stage. Confused and annoyed, they ask the event organizer for an explanation, who directs them to Kiara's sister. She manages to get them backstage, signaling to her sister to begin the final phase of her plan. Kiara pauses on stage and publicly apologizes to the band. She invites them up on stage and ends her speech by opening the way for them to begin playing, saying goodbye to the audience. Although a little disoriented by the surprise, the young men settle in and give their performance to their largest audience yet. When Kiara finally leaves the venue and returns home, she finds herself bombarded with messages and missed calls from her manager at Hunter Records. Clearly, she would never work with them again.Weeks later, Kiara had gone from being one of the most popular stars in the industry to completely unrecognizable. The media repeated her story and how she "sabotaged" her career for days, until the latest gossip of the week emerged and she became completely irrelevant. On the other hand, Life Ruiners didn't achieve the same level of stardom, but they weren't badly positioned either, playing clubs regularly and creating music that truly connected with their fans.

Kiara is the typical self-centered and spoiled mean girl. She acts as the band's Social Media manager and is in an on-and-off relationship with Eric.

Kiara is the eldest daughter of a wealthy couple of rabbits. Since childhood, she has had all her needs met, except for maternal love. From a young age, she and her younger sister Kayla were required by their mother to achieve high levels of academic and extracurricular activities. Kayla always excelled far more than her, fostering a resentment that she carries to this day.
Both sisters were sent to the best private schools during their childhood and adolescence. Kiara developed a selfish and abrasive personality, becoming a bully / mean girl at school, a period she fondly remembers. She is unaware of the harm she caused her classmates and believes she was adored.
After finishing high school, Kiara had no ambitions to pursue a university career or a job. She spent her days locked away at home or hanging out with her dwindling group of school friends until they cut ties with her. She fell into a depression, which led her mother to harass her further, worsening her condition.
She sought refuge in social media and the "virality" that could be achieved on those platforms. She spent months chasing every trend that emerged, to the point of completely changing her entire personality just to feel like she belonged. Her parents continued to indulge her every desire in the hope that it would make her happy and finally get her life back in order. Weeks passed, and Kiara barely left her room, with no one willing to spend time with her off-screen.
One day, when Kayla was about to go out with her friends, her parents asked her to bring her sister with her. It was that day that she was introduced to "Life Ruiners" at one of their first concerts. When she saw Eric sing, it was love at first sight. After intense study of the band and their music, Kiara completely changed her personality again to become the potentially perfect girlfriend for Eric.

Eric is the only child of a pair of tigers. He was assigned female at birth. He always behaved like a tomboy. He had a very close relationship with his father from a young age; he was his greatest role model throughout his childhood. Sadly, his father died in a work-related accident when Eric was 9 years old.
After this, Eric felt very lonely and sad for many years, unable to accept the loss. His maternal grandmother, seeing that her daughter couldn't afford the expenses as a single mother, offered to let them move in with her. The move, the change of school, and, above all, the death of his father represented a significant change in Eric's life, which made him withdrawn and had aggression issues.
It was around this time that he met Tubbs at school, and they quickly became best friends. They were both routinely excluded from their peers, which reinforced their bond as "weird kids" at school.
His mother, although well-intentioned, never managed to give him the proper support he needed and also pressured him to be "a proper woman" during his teenage years. When Eric began exploring his sexuality, feeling attracted to women and identifying as a man, his mother didn't accept him, which caused them to drift apart even further.
After graduating from high school, Eric began looking for work, but his job didn't last long due to his temper problems. A few years later, he decided to start a band with his best friend, forming "Life Ruiners." Since then, he has supported himself with odd jobs while continuing with the band in search of his big break at stardom.

Tubbs comes from a large family. He grew up with his grandmother, mother, and four siblings, all from different fathers. His mother was never able to find a partner to care for her children and ended up being a single mother of five. He never met his biological father. From a young age, he has had to take care of his siblings, helping his mother handle household responsibilities and raising them.
At an early age, he began developing an interest in music, collecting records and learning to compose his own songs.
He met Eric at school shortly after he entered, and they have been inseparable ever since. After graduating from high school, his greatest aspiration was to attend a university that would give him the tools to become a professional musician, but with the birth of his younger siblings, he was forced to put his dreams on hold and stay home, babysitting or working part-time jobs to help his family. As the weeks passed, Tubbs looked for various alternatives that would allow him to pursue his studies and help his family at the same time (without having to go into debt with student loans).
The best opportunity he could find presented itself: a public university with a good music program but, unfortunately, no distance learning program. With the school hours away from his home, he had no choice but to move there, but that would mean he would no longer be able to help out at home. He decided that for the sake of his family, he would stay in his hometown.
A couple of years passed until his mother confronted him, seeing that her son's mood was getting worse. Although he refused to admit it at first, Tubbs confessed to his mother his desire to move away to study and his fear of being away when his family needed him. His mother comforted him, assuring him that they would be okay and that he should pursue his dream.
With his mother's approval, Tubbs moved out of his home to live near the university campus and pursue his dream career. While searching for a roommate, he met Kevin, another student at her university. Shortly after, he and Eric decided to form the band that would become "Life Ruiners."

Lulu is the youngest daughter of a couple of anthropologists. Her father is a kangaroo and her mother is a Dalmatian. She was diagnosed with ASD at an early age, so her parents tended to be overprotective. She didn't adapt well to the school environment, having to call home frequently for someone to pick her up. Her parents decided it would be best to homeschool her.
Her best friend and confidant is her older brother, with whom she spent most of her time. She imitated him in almost everything, always trying to be like him. That's how she learned to play the drums (from her brother). Every afternoon after school, they would go out to play with Luca's friends. Although Lulu's meddling sometimes bothered her friends, her older brother never left her side.
Lulu was always close to him, at least until he had to move away to attend college. Although Luca promised to come visit her as often as he could, their separation caused her great anxiety and sadness. Without her brother or his friends, Lulu's social relationships declined severely. She spent the next few years mostly at home, interacting only with her parents or sporadically with a few long-distance online friends.

Kevin comes from a very dysfunctional couple. His father was always a very strict but responsible man, hoping to start a family. His mother, on the other hand, had no plans to get pregnant, but when she heard the news, they decided to get married. She was an irresponsible mother, which caused many fights with Kevin's father. He grew up surrounded by constant bickering between his parents.
When Kevin was 12, he was in a car accident caused by his mother. Fortunately, neither of them suffered serious injuries, but this was the final straw for his father. He decided it would be best to separate and gain custody of Kevin. His mother barely fought for him, feeling that a weight was finally lifted. Once the papers were signed, she left both of their lives and maintained minimal contact with her son. His relationship with his father didn't improve much, as he was always busy working at the store.
Not long after the divorce, his father met a new woman, and within a few months, they decided to get married. She also had a daughter, younger than Kevin, who was the complete opposite of him. She had good grades, was very polite, and always received compliments from her family.
Kevin became a stranger in his own home, never able to integrate into the new family dynamic. His academic performance began to suffer to the point where he had to repeat his senior year of high school. This severely lowered his self-esteem, disappointing his parents. He was constantly compared to his stepsister, who was clearly their favorite.
He spent years after high school supported by his parents, although they always demanded that he work for them. Until his father offered to pay his college tuition if he would make something of himself. Kevin took the offer as an opportunity to get away from his family and chose a career almost at random. With the help of his parents, he managed to rent a small apartment.
It was there that he met his new roommate, Tubbs, and through him, Eric. His new friends decided to include him in the new band they were forming, "Life Ruiners."
